What is Piano for Producers?
Piano for Producers is a unique group class designed for aspiring music producers who want to create their own music but feel hindered by a lack of theoretical knowledge. By blending essential music theory concepts with practical production skills in Ableton Live, this course helps you develop a solid foundation in both music theory and music production.

What You'll Learn

• Applied Music Theory: Learn the fundamentals of note values, scales, chords, and song structures, and understand how to apply these concepts in music production.

• Production Techniques: Master the basics of MIDI, synthesis, and audio recording in Ableton Live to bring your ideas to life.

• Creative Skills: Develop your unique sound and style by experimenting with different production techniques and musical elements.

Class Structure

• Weekly Classes: Our engaging group classes are held once a week, giving you regular, hands-on practice in a collaborative environment. Classes start at the end of September on Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 PM.

What Piano for Producers Is Not

• A traditional classical music class focused on pieces like Für Elise
