Hands-on synth experiences for kids and their grown-ups—make music, memories, and a little bit of noise together.

Join us this spring for a series of hands-on synth experiences designed for kids and their grown-ups to enjoy together! Each event invites families to build, explore, and make music in a welcoming environment—no tech experience required. Whether you're diving into LittleBits for the first time or building a real analog synthesizer side by side, these events are all about creativity, curiosity, and connection.

  • Build & Bloom: A Mother’s Day Synth Workshop

    Date: Saturday, May 10
    Time: 9:00–11:00 AM
Cost: $130 per pair (includes one synth kit to build and take home)
Recommended for ages 7 and up
    Limited to 5 families

Celebrate Mother’s Day a little early with a hands-on workshop for music-loving families! In this two-hour session, kids and moms will work side by side to build a real analog synthesizer using the Korg Nu:Tekt kit—no soldering or prior experience needed. Then the synth is yours to keep!

Once built, we’ll plug it in, view the sound waves on an oscilloscope, and explore how the different knobs shape its voice. It’s a low-pressure, curiosity-driven intro to sound design, perfect for creative families who love trying something new together.

We’ll also have a cozy tea bar with lemonade, herbal teas, and sweet snacks—because it wouldn’t be a proper pre–Mother’s Day celebration without a little treat.

  • Saturday Morning Synths

    Date: Saturday, May 17
    Time: 9:00AM - 10:00AM
Cost: $25 per pair (one child + one adult)
Recommended for ages 6 and up
    Limited to 10 families

Start your Saturday with a burst of creativity! This fun and casual drop-in session invites kids and parents to explore the basics of sound using our collection of LittleBits Synth Kits. No experience needed—just a love of experimenting and making noise together.

We’ll walk through how the modules connect, build little sound circuits, and jam out with the custom synth rigs we create. Whether you're brand new to electronic music or just want a fun morning activity, this class is a great way to spend quality time as a family.

  • Fathers day Frequencies

    Date: Sunday, June 15
    Time: 9:00–11:00 AM
Cost: $120 per pair (includes one synth kit to build and take home)
Recommended for ages 8 and up
    Limited to 5 families

Celebrate Father’s Day with a hands-on project you’ll both remember. In this two-hour workshop, kids and dads will team up to build a Korg Nu:Tekt analog synth, then dive into sound together with an oscilloscope demo and creative play.

No prior experience or tools required—the synth is beginner-friendly and solder-free. We’ll guide you step-by-step as you build something real, then explore how each knob and switch shapes the sound.

Coffee, lemonade, and snacks will be on hand to keep things easy and fun. Walk away with a new instrument and a memory that’ll last way longer than a necktie.
