EMC is happy to offer Day-ff camps for PPS students during the strike. Classes are for children ages 7 - 14. Camp runs from 9:00 - 2:00. Class location will be at Unity of Portland at 4525 SE Stark St, Portland.

We’ll be able to mix our regular camp programming such as music production and creating music music, along with outdoor activities, games, crafts and more!

We will provide all music equipment, laptops, keyboards, and headphones. Students should bring a water bottle, lunch, and any downtime activities they would like to have during breaks such as books or puzzles (no video games please).

Cost for the day is $80. As we cannot tell how long the strike will be lasting, we are asking for a $15 deposit to hold your space in the camp, which would be refunded if the strike ends, and school resumes. If your child is sick day of, we will be able to offer a $15 credit to a future EMC camp, class, or after-school enrichment class.

Pickup is 2:00, please contact us if you are unable to pick up before 2:15, and we’ll see what we can do. Our staff do have other after-school classes to attend, so we will be unable to provide late-care options. If your child attends an after-school EMC class on the same day at a different location, we will not be able to provide transportation to the other class.

For now we are able to provide Monday Nov 6th and Tuesday Nov 7th. More days may become available depending on the length of the strike and our ability to staff the location.
