Gear Highlight: Korg Volcas
Every so often we like to take a second and hi-light some of the gear we are using to teach music production here at Electronic Music Club. Today we showcase the Korg Volca series!
Korg Volca Bass and Korg Volca Drums are both hardware synthesizers that are part of Korg's Volca series. These portable devices are designed for on-the-go music creation, with a focus on affordability and ease of use. The Volca Bass is a three-voice analog bass synthesizer, while the Volca Drums is a six-part digital drum machine.
One of the key features of these devices is their ability to sync together. Both devices have a sync input and output, allowing them to be synchronized with each other and with other devices in a setup. This makes it possible to create complex rhythms and melodies with multiple devices, all in sync.

The Korg Volca Bass and Korg Volca Drums are two of the many tools we use in Electronic Music Club to teach elementary age children about music production. We love their ease of use, affordability, and sync capabilities, which make them a great option for classroom use.
